On 28-29 September 2015, following the results from the first meeting, the platform met to expand on some of the challenges identified in July. The meeting brought together 13 women and 10 men working with dialogues in different cities of Ukraine. With representatives from the UNDP and mediatEUr, the group dedicated the first day of work to exploring the meaning and concepts of dialogue, in a workshop facilitated by Brendan McAllister from the United Nations Standby Team.
On 14-15 July 2015, mediatEUr and the UNDP conducted the first meeting of the Dialogue Support Platform in Ukraine. A pilot group of facilitators met in Kyiv to explore the main challenges for dialogue facilitation in Ukraine, the options ahead, and the next steps for the platform. The report from the meeting, the platform's first, is now available for download. Click here to access the report.
