mediatEUr is embarking on a new project, together with Mindanao-based partner Initiatives for International Dialogue, to evaluate Nonviolent Peaceforce's work in Mindanao, Philippines. Synthesising and managing the lessons from peacebuilding and mediation efforts is crucial for the promotion of good practice in the field. mediatEUr was awarded a grant by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland to gather the lessons learned from the Kyrgyzstan Inquiry Commission (KIC)'s work.   Click here to learn more about this project. 
mediatEUr this weeks collaborated with the European External Action Service and the Folke Bernadotte Academy for a week-long training programme on Conflict Transformation and Peacebuilding in the Andean Region of Latin America. 
Together with Egmont - Belgian Royal Institute for International Relations, and the German organisation El Barlament, mediatEUr hosted the event 'Egypt in Transition: Supporting Democracy through Dialogue.'
mediatEUr just launched its latest publication on Mediation Practice, 'Conducting an Assessment Before Operational Deployment: A Case Study from Kosovo, 2013'.
