Expert Seminar Report: Peace, Justice and the EU

On 9 June 2011, mediatEUr convened an expert seminar of nearly 30 EU policymakers, academics and practitioners on the topic Peace, Justice & the EU. Peace and justice expert Priscilla Hayner was the guest speaker. This report captures the key points discussed.

The meeting comprised two elements: 1 - Difficulties and dilemmas in peace and justice: a presentation by Ms. Hayner and discussion. 2 - A group discussion of Peace, Justice and the EU: lessons, challenges and ways forward. This seminar series is being convened by mediatEUr as part of its Global Forum for Mediation project.
