Ragnar Ängeby
Before becoming Head of the Conflict Prevention in Practice Programme at the Folke Bernadotte Academy, Ragnar Ängeby served as a diplomat at the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs. In his current position, Ambassador Ängeby is responsible for designing curricula for training, skill-, and capacity building for mediation efforts and dialogue processes.
He is engaged in the involvement of economic actors in conflict prevention and peacebuilding, and also in issues relating to reconciliation as a process and practice. Ambassador Ängeby runs conferences, workshops, seminars, and training courses with the purpose of preventing the occurrence, escalation, or recurrence of violent conflict. He also works globally on leadership, governance and managing change.
